3 Eagles Bold Predictions vs Rams in Week 5
By Tyler Maher
The Eagles will look to remain undefeated in Week 5 when they travel to SoFi Stadium to take on the Rams.
Sean McVay's squad has been surprisingly frisky this year, going 2-2 to start the season despite Cooper Kupp being out. With Kupp possibly returning this week, however, things could get interesting.
Here are 3 bold predictions for this week's showdown between the two most recent NFC champs.
3 Bold Eagles Predictions Week 5
1. Jalen Hurts Has His Best Game of Season
Hurts hasn't quite looked like his MVP-caliber self this year, but that's about to change in Week 5.
Slowly but surely, Hurts has been trending in the right direction, getting better each week. His passing yards total has increased every week, and he finally had multiple touchdown passes for the first time this season in Week 4.
It's taken some time for Hurt to get used to Brian Johnson's new offense, but he seems to finally be getting more comfortable. He's back on the same page with A.J. Brown after some early chemistry issues and he's still finding Devonta Smith with ease.
Look for that trend to continue in Week 5 against a Rams defense that is nowhere near as formidable as it was a few years ago. This is just an average unit now that ranks 15th in points allowed and has registered only 1 interception this year, so there's not much to fear in this road matchup.
Hurts will come out and pick up where he left off against the Commanders last week. He should also benefit from good field position if Matthew Stafford's turnover troubles continue.
