One of the most ridiculous early storylines from the start to the Philadelphia Eagles’ season is supposed “beef” between stars AJ Brown and Jalen Hurts. The two were captured having a passionate talk on the sidelines during the team’s Week 2 win, but outsiders took the clip and spun a narrative out of it.

After days of speculation, Brown has finally broke his silence.

Eagles Rumors: AJ Brown Clears the Air on Jalen Hurts Beef

The star wideout made it crystal-clear there is no issue between his and his QB. Brown even clarified he wasn’t talking about targets, which some assumed. He simply said it was a “discussion” and “sometimes emotions run high.”

For Eagles fans, this isn’t new. The Philly faithful was the most level-headed about this brief moment, avoiding an overreactions to two friends who also happen to be teammates sorting some stuff out.

We all know how close Brown and Hurts are. This friendship paved the way for Brown’s arrival in Philadelphia, and it was the catalyst behind an explosive year for both players in 2022.

For everybody else who though there might be trouble in paradise, hopefully this puts that talk to bed.

Instead, Brown and Hurts will continue to move forward following a 2-0 start to the season. Both guys know the offense hasn’t performed up to expectations, and them getting on the same page is vital to jumpstarting this unit.

The good news is the Eagles just had a mini-bye week thanks to playing on Thursday Night Football in Week 2, giving them three extra days to rest and review film. That extra time should prove vital to the offense looking like its old self again on Monday.
