We are only one week into the preseason, but the injuries are already piling up for the Philadelphia Eagles. Star offensive lineman Landon Dickerson, who has already been ruled out for the rest of the preseason due to a knee surgery, has now been joined by a fellow guard on the injury list.
Landon Dickerson isn’t the only Eagles guard who is now considered week to week. Kenyon Green, whom the Eagles acquired in an off-season trade, also is what one source described as “week to week” with a shoulder injury that is likely to end his preseason. https://t.co/le6y7rhzwO

Kenyon Green Will Now Miss Rest of Eagles Preseason
ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that Kenyon Green suffered a shoulder injury that will "likely end his preseason," before adding that he should be described as "week to week." Green was carted off on Thursday against the Bengals after playing 16 offensive snaps.
Not only does this make the Eagles extremely short-handed on the interior offensive line, but it also adds another layer of concern to Green's already troubling start to his Philly tenure.
Since being acquired by the Houston Texans in the CJ Gardner-Johnson trade, Green has had a tough time adjusting to his new team. During OTAs, Green worked with the third-team offensive linemen. When the Eagles kicked off their training camp, Green missed the first few days of practice. In the first preseason game against the Bengals, the former Texan struggled immensely, receiving a 45.4 offensive grade on PFF, the fourth-lowest of any offensive player on the team.
This type of performance has, unfortunately, not been too uncommon for Green. Despite being the 15th-overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, the former Texas A&M standout hasn't been able to establish his career. He missed the entire 2023 campaign with injury, but in his two healthy seasons in 2022 and 2024, he received 37.7 and 38.6 PFF grades, respectively.
If the Eagles didn't already have injury concerns around Dickerson, this wouldn't be a big issue. Now, this pushes Green further down the pecking order and makes Tyler Steen and Matt Pryor the favorites to start at each guard position. For the rest of the preseason, however, it behooves head coach Nick Sirianni to rest Steen and Pryor to ensure that they don't get hurt. What the Eagles decide to do with Green and whether he even makes the 53-man roster now remains to be seen.
