Heading into the Super Bowl, many around the NFL expected Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator Kellen Moore to become the New Orleans Saints' next head coach. Following the victory, the Saints didn't wait long to officially hire Moore, as he was their head coach by the Tuesday after the game.
That said, Moore now needs to build a coaching staff, which can be difficult this late into the coaching cycle. As a result, many expected the 36-year-old first-time head coach would look to the Eagles coaching staff for hires. However, head coach Nick Sirianni made it clear he wouldn't let that happen immediately after Moore was hired.
Despite Sirianni's best efforts, Philadelphia's former offensive coordinator has secured an interview with a member of the Eagles offensive staff. According to Adam Schefter, Eagles assistant head coach and RB coach Jemal Singleton has interviewed for the Saints offensive coordinator job.
Schefter also mentioned that an Eagles official described him as "a big part of what we do on offense and a rising star going forward.

Eagles Could Lose Key Staffer to Kellen Moore
This is now the third staffer in Philly that Moore has set up a meeting with, in addition to QBs coach Doug Nussmeier and DBs coach Christian Parker.
Singleton being described as a big part of the Eagles' offense is no surprise. This season, Philadelphia had the best rushing attack in the NFL with 2,163 yards rushing. While a lot of that is due to the greatness of Saqoun Barkley, Singleton also played a role.
Therefore, Eagle fans should be worried about losing Singleton. The 49-year-old coach has nearly two decades of experience being a running backs coach and spent eight seasons in the NFL. Singleton has been Philadelphia's assistant head coach and running backs coach since 2021 when Sirianni took over.
Thus, the two clearly share similar thought processes, which is why losing Singleton would be a blow to the team.
Nonetheless, only time will tell if Moore is able to steal a key member of the Eagles staff.
