Immediately after their Super Bowl win, the Philadelphia Eagles lost offensive coordinator Kellen Moore, who took the New Orleans Saints head coaching job. That is the cost of success in the NFL. Teams who want to catch up to the best in the league begin poaching the coaching staff. That has continued since Kellen Moore joined New Orleans.
Over the weekend, it was reported that the Saints were interviewing Eagles defensive backs coach Christian Parker for their defensive coordinator opening. It turns out that Moore has another Eagles coach in mind for the offensive coordinator role in New Orleans.
The #Saints and new coach Kellen Moore are set to interview former #Chargers coach Brandon Staley for defensive coordinator today and #Eagles QBs coach Doug Nussmeier for offensive coordinator early this week, sources say.

Two of them top candidates.
Doug Nussmeier Likely Leaving the Eagles to Join Kellen Moore's Staff
NFL insider Ian Rapoport revealed that the Saints are interviewing Eagles QB coach Doug Nussmeier for the OC vacancy.
This is not a surprising development. Once it was announced that Moore was headed to New Orleans, it was widely assumed that Nussmeier would be near the top of the list for coaches he would want to bring along. The two coaches have been working together since 2018 when they were with the Cowboys. Nussmeier then followed Moore to the Chargers and the Eagles over the years.
Nussmeier has been floated as a possibility to be Moore's replacement in Philadelphia as well. However, if the Eagles were to go with an internal hire, pass game coordinator Kevin Patullo is the likely frontrunner there. In fact, if Nussmeier is a serious candidate to take the Saints OC job, he would presumably rather follow Moore there than stay in Philadelphia, where he has only been for one season.
Nick Sirianni will have some new faces on the sideline next season. That is one of many factors why repeating as Super Bowl champions can be so hard. Whether the Eagles will be able to find the same magic next season with a new coaching staff remains to be seen.
