Even though Super Bowl 59 is only a few days away, some Philadelphia Eagles fans are already looking beyond Sunday's showdown with the Kansas City Chiefs.
After all, the Super Bowl is the last game before the NFL offseason begins. Not only are the Eagles at risk of losing several players to free agency come March, but some of Nick Sirianni's coaching staff is bound to draw interest from outside suitors — especially offensive coordinator Kellen Moore.
Moore, 38, has played a crucial role in the Eagles' offensive success this season, and losing him would be quite the blow. Having said that, one Philadelphia star isn't thinking about his OC's potential departure just yet.

On Wednesday, PHLY Sports' Zach Berman asked Jalen Hurts about the possibility of Moore leaving the Eagles, opening the door to the veteran quarterback playing with his ninth OC in 10 seasons.
"Ask me in a week or so," Hurts replied.
"Ask me in a week or so," Jalen Hurts said with a laugh when asked about having another offensive coordinator next season. (It will be his 9th in 10 years in college + pros.)

The idea of Moore leaving Philadelphia has been a hot topic as he's been linked to multiple head coaching jobs this offseason. All of those vacancies have been filled up except for that of the New Orleans Saints, who conducted an in-person interview with the Eagles OC last week.
"Having an opportunity to meet with (Saints general manager Mickey Loomis) and their leadership group has been great," Moore said following the interview, per WWL Radio Sports' Jeff Nowak, adding that "we'll see what happens" after the Super Bowl.
Moore joined head coach Nick Sirianni's staff ahead of the 2024 campaign after spending 2023 as the Los Angeles Chargers OC. The former Dallas Cowboys QB made an instant impact on the Eagles' offense, which ranked among the league's best units throughout the year.
While Moore more than deserves to be an NFL head coach one day, you can't help but feel for Hurts. The Eagles have employed three different offensive coordinators since the former Alabama/Oklahoma QB was drafted 53rd overall in 2020. Assuming Moore leaves town, the 2025 season will be Philadelphia's third in a row with a new OC.
Fortunately, Hurts has proven he's among the NFL's best signal-callers, regardless of who's calling the plays. He's thrown for 14,667 passing yards and 85 touchdowns while rushing for another 3,133 yards and 55 TDs on the ground, cementing himself as one of the best dual-threats the league has ever seen.
The Eagles will face plenty of changes in the offseason, but it's clear that Hurts is focusing on the present for now. The two-time Pro Bowl QB has to be locked in on Sunday to help the Eagles overcome the fact that they're currently 1.5-point underdogs to the Chiefs in Super Bowl 59, according to DraftKings Sportsbook.
