3 Eagles Coaches Who Will Be Gone After the Super Bowl
The City of Brotherly Love is buzzing with anticipation now that Super Bowl 59 is just over one week away.
The Philadelphia Eagles are back on the NFL's biggest stage as they're set to collide with the Kansas City Chiefs in New Orleans on Sunday, Feb. 9. Even though it's an exciting time to be a part of the Eagles organization, the upcoming championship matchup is will likely be the last game that several coaches and players spend with the franchise.
When it comes to head coach Nick Sirianni's staff, here are three coaches who could leave the Eagles following the Super Bowl.
1. Kellen Moore, Offensive Coordinator
Out of every member of Sirianni's staff, offensive coordinator Kellen Moore is the most likely to leave the Eagles.
Moore has been seen as a future NFL head coach ever since he became OC of the Dallas Cowboys in 2019. As much as Philly fans hate to admit it, the Cowboys often had one of the NFL's best offenses during the Prosser, WA native's time in the Lone Star State, leading to his eventually joining the Eagles in the same role ahead of the 2024 campaign.
Moore's presence has played a big role in Philadelphia's success this season, using each of the team's playmakers to their full potential. Success comes at a price, though, and Eagles fans have learned that as the 36-year-old has since been linked to various head coaching vacancies this offseason.
Reaching the Super Bowl means Moore hasn't been able to field any interviews yet, but that will change in the coming weeks. He was once linked in a potential reunion with the Cowboys before they hired Brian Schottenheimer, and has more recently been tied to the New Orleans Saints' vacancy.
Considering what a Super Bowl appearance has likely done for his stock, it'd be shocking if Moore returned to as the Eagles OC this fall.
