The Philadelphia Eagles are Super Bowl 59 Champions, and City of Brotherly Love couldn't be prouder of Nick Sirianni's team.
Watching Jalen Hurts, Saquon Barkley, and the rest of the Eagles hoisting the Lombardi Trophy is an image that fans won't soon forget. But as great as it feels to win the Super Bowl, pulling off that feat came at a price. The NFL regular season was grueling enough and adding four postseason games to the schedule surely means some Philadelphia players are more than banged up.
In fact, one key Eagles just revealed he must undergo a surprise offseason surgery.
Eagles Injury News: Landon Dickerson to Undergo Offseason Surgery
On Thursday, The Philadelphia Inquirer's Jeff McLane reported that Eagles offensive guard Landon Dickerson will undergo knee surgery at some point this offseason.
"Dickerson said his left knee injury will likely require offseason surgery," McLane wrote. "He wouldn’t disclose the exact nature of the injury."

The fact that Dickerson didn't reveal the severity of his left knee injury will likely worry Eagles fans.
On one hand, the ailment might be small enough that the Pro Bowl guard is confident that he won't impact his 2025 season preparation. On the other hand, his minimal explanation could stem from more testing needing to be done, leaving his outlook up in the air.
Being without Dickerson for any amount of time would be a blow for the Eagles, especially if it impacts his regular-season availability. The former 2021 second-rounder — once again — proved to be one of the NFL's best blockers with pass block and run protection grades of 70.5 and 79.4, respectively, on Pro Football Focus.
The 2025 campaign is going to be a big one for Dickerson as it marks the beginning of the four-year, $84 million contract extension he signed last March. He's slated to carry a $6.5 million cap hit next season, per Spotrac, so it's safe to say the Eagles would rather have their financial investment on the field rather than sitting on the sidelines.
Hopefully, more clarity regarding Dickerson's injury will be provided in the coming weeks. In the meantime, the Eagles will continue navigating the NFL offseason as DraftKings Sportsbook's Super Bowl 60 odds-on favorite (+650).
