Two years after losing to the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl, the Philadelphia Eagles exacted revenge with a massive 40-22 victory in New Orleans on Sunday.
Although it's been five days since Nick Sirianni & Co. hoisted the Lombardi Trophy, the Super Bowl celebrations aren't close to being over. Not only will Friday's championship parade keep the good vibes going, but one Eagles player has even gone as far as getting a tattoo to celebrate the franchise's latest achievement.
Eagles News: Isaiah Rodgers Gets Super Bowl Tattoo
On Wednesday night, Eagles cornerback Isaiah Rodgers revealed his fresh tattoo that commemorates his team's Super Bowl 59 victory. The video posted on X shows off the veteran defender's new ink, which includes the Super Bowl logo, the final score, and his jersey number (No. 34).
NBC Sports Philadelphia's John Clark soon confirmed that Rodgers is the first Eagles player to get a Super Bowl 59 tattoo, wondering if fellow CB Darius Slay could be next.

Winning the Super Bowl is one of the biggest achievements in sports, so Rodgers has every right to celebrate the win however he wants.
The former UMass defender was drafted 211th by the Indianapolis Colts in 2020, spending three seasons with the franchise before due to his violating the NFL's gambling policy. The Eagles signed Rodgers two months later, however, a year-long suspension held him out of the entire 2023 campaign.
After being reinstated last year, Rodgers went on to play 19 games for the Eagles between the regular season and playoffs. The Tampa, FL native tallied a total of 22 solo tackles, seven defended passes, and a forced fumble during that stretch while playing key snaps on defense and special teams.
By the time the dust settled, Rodgers finished the 2024 campaign as one of the NFL's better cornerbacks in terms of run defense (83.4, 10th), coverage (70.5, 31st), and overall defense (73.2, 24th) on Pro Football Focus.
It remains to be seen if Super Bowl 59 will be Rodgers' last game in an Eagles jersey. The versatile ballhawk will become a free agent in March and could be in line for a major pay raise after adding a championship ring to his accolade list.
Having said that, re-signing in Philadelphia would give Rodgers a great opportunity to add more ink this time next year. FanDuel Sportsbook is currently listing the Eagles as the Super Bowl 60 favorites (+600) less than a month before free agency begins.
