The Philadelphia Eagles wrapped up organized team activities (OTAs) on Thursday, marking the last stop before next week's mandatory minicamp.

The Eagles have made some tweaks to the roster as they look to defend their Super Bowl title. It isn't unusual for a team to make a bunch of moves throughout the offseason, as they add players to their 90-man roster and see who can carve out a spot on the final roster.

On Friday, Philadelphia claimed running back Keilan Robinson to flesh out the backfield depth. In a corresponding move, though, the Eagles released receiver Ife Adeyi.

Eagles Released WR Ife Adeyi Following Final OTAs

The Eagles signed Adeyi to a contract earlier in the week, but it didn't take long for them to decide to part ways with him..

Adeyi was an undrafted free agent after playing his college ball at Sam Houston State. During his time there, he earned All-WAC second team honors in 2021 and All-Southland Conference second team honors in 2020. In 54 college games, Adeyi had 164 grabs for 2,312 receiving yards and 19 touchdowns. He also added 306 rushing yards and another four scores.

While he was producing well at the college level, the Eagles have a deep WR room. Obviously, A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith lead the way, but they have other playmakers who are also vying for snaps.

That list includes Johnny Wilson, Elijah Cooks, Darius Cooper, Terrace Marshall Jr., Danny Gray, Giles Jackson, Jahan Dotson, Ainias Smith, and Taylor Morin.

The Eagles decided they wanted to add another running back to the fold instead of a pass-catcher. Robinson will also join a crowded RB room that has Saquon Barkley, A.J. Dillon, Will Shipley, ShunDerrick Powell, Montrell Johnson Jr., and Lew Nichols.

It'll be an uphill climb for Robinson to latch onto the team as well, but he has some experience playing on special teams. Last season, he played with the Jacksonville Jaguars, logging two kick returns for 34 yards.

Robinson's odds of cracking the Eagles roster will become clearer after the mandatory minicamp. Meanwhile, it's up to Adeyi to find his next playing opportunity.
