The Philadelphia Eagles are making their second trip to the Super Bowl in the last three years after an impressive 55-23 blowout win over the Washington Commanders in Sunday’s NFC title game.

The Eagles dominated the Commanders on both sides, scoring seven rushing TDs and forcing Washington into four turnovers. In addition to those two things, Jalen Hurts played well under center, completing 20-of-28 passes for 246 yards and a touchdown.

It was a complete performance from the Eagles, who will try to get revenge against the Kansas City Chiefs in New Orleans, Louisiana, in Super Bowl 59. While Eagles fans enjoyed what they watched on Sunday, current NFL players also weighed in on the win on social media.

One of those players was Baltimore Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey. In Week 13, the Ravens and Humphrey lost to the Eagles, 24-19 in Baltimore. The Ravens also played the Commanders this season, with Baltimore winning 30-23 in Week 6.

Before Sunday’s afternoon kicked off, Humphrey gave his prediction on the NFC title game. He said the Eagles would win by two scores, and added Super Bowl champs in his tweet. Then after the game was over, Humphrey said, "I thought the Eagles were the best team we played this year."

To say Philadelphia would win by two scores in the championship game is one thing, but also saying they’ll win the Super Bowl will make fans happy. Humphrey and the Ravens also played the Chiefs to start the season, losing by seven at Arrowhead.

Eagles fans hope Humphrey’s prediction comes true, especially after seeing how the first Super Bowl played out between these two teams in 2022. The Eagles only lost by three points in that Super Bowl, and now they will get their second shot with a revamped defense and explosive offense led by star running back Saquon Barkley.
