Seattle Seahawks

Despite their impressive 5-1 record, the Seattle Seahawks employ one of the worst defenses in all of football at the moment. They’re allowing a league high 479 yards per game, and they allow the tenth most points per game as well (28.7).

They splashed big on All-Pro safety Jamal Adams during the offseason, but they have yet to really feel his presence as he’s battled his own respective injury woes. Not only could Parks provide some much needed safety depth to a team that’s lacking in the secondary, but he could act as “Jamal Adams insurance” should the former Jet continue to miss games.

The Seahawks have already established themselves as buyers as well, as they just recently moved a draft pick for former Bengals DE Carlos Dunlap.

At 5-1, the Seahawks are obviously one of the best teams in the entire NFL at the moment, and they will in all likelihood make one or two more moves to bolster their roster prior to the deadline. Russell Wilson is playing at an extremely high level, and capitalizing on his play is a no-brainer.

If “defense-first” head coach Pete Carroll is looking to add another versatile DB to the mix, Will Parks would be a pretty seamless fit for a fairly cheap price.
