Minnesota Vikings

The other team that was reportedly in the mix for Parks this past offseason, the Minnesota Vikings could revisit the idea of adding the ex-Bronco defensive back to their roster. The Vikings are rumored to be shopping one of their own respective safeties in Anthony Harris, and it’s possible they could use Parks as a replacement.

The obvious problem with this train of thought is that the Vikings are really bad at the moment. They themselves have already plummeted completely into a “sellers” mindset, as they offloaded recently acquired star defensive end Yannick Ngakoue for just a third-round pick.

At 1-5, it’s really hard to imagine the Vikings giving up assets for a player who is on an one-year contract. It’s possible that they could look to re-sign Parks upon acquiring him, but all of it seems rather unlikely.

The Philadelphia Eagles and the Vikings could always work out some sort of player-for-player swap, but something of that nature would likely require the Eagles to give up draft capital in return. Even with a division title right in their grasp, that seems like an unlikely scenario as well.

Overall, the likelihood of Rick Speilman and the Vikings banging on Howie’s door for eight games of Will Parks is slim to none.
