One final roster spot left to be filled.

As you may have noticed when I initially laid out the entire roster, the Philadelphia Eagles currently have 52 players on the active team, not 53. This leaves one final mystery spot to be filled in the coming days leading into Week 1.

As was previously reported earlier in the week, the Eagles brought in free agent offensive tackle Cordy Glenn on a visit. Roseman confirmed that Glenn is in the building undergoing COVID-19 testing before his physical, and he will likely be the final addition to the roster barring any unforeseen complications.

The Philadelphia Eagles are incredibly light at the offensive line position following the injures to Andre Dillard and Brandon Brooks, and binging in a veteran who can play tackle is pretty much a no-brainer at this point in time.

Doug Pederson did announce on Monday that Jason Peters would be swinging back over to LT, but the team could undoubtedly use some depth behind him.

The Philadelphia Eagles initial 53-man roster was confusing to say the least. They had to cut fan-favorite CB LeBlanc just to make room for Javon Huntley, they went extremely light at some very important positions (TE, WR, O-Line), and some of the players that they prioritized don’t even seem ready to play actual football anytime soon. Regardless, this team has just a handful of days to get ready for their season opener against the revamped Washington *Football Team*.
