3. Zero turnovers for Eagles

No one needs to explain just how big of a win it is for any team when they manage to go an entire game without recording a single turnover, which turned out to be the case for the Eagles on Sunday during their win over the Redskins.

From Carson Wentz making smart decisions at quarterback to no one even having to attempt recovering their own fumble, Philadelphia did an excellent job at protecting the football, and this certainly played a key role in helping the team earn the hard-fought win.

Of course, Washington deserves to receive the necessary credit as well since just like their rivals, the team happened to go the entire contest without a turnover either.

Will this trend continue for the Eagles all season? Unfortunately, this is nearly impossible since no matter how perfect any team, which Philadelphia is far from, mistakes are still going to happen from time to time.

If Philadelphia could even find a way to go a few games before their first turnover took place, this would obviously be considered a huge accomplishment.

But instead of looking too far ahead down the road, the main focus for the Eagles needs to be on Sunday night to make sure they protect the football just as well when taking on the Falcons.
