4 reasons Philadelphia Eagles big winners during Week 1 of 2019 season

2. Ground game looks strong sharing carries
Due to numerous injuries at the position throughout the 2018 season, the Eagles realized the importance of upgrading at running back during the offseason to put the offense in better position to compete.
It was one thing to acquire Jordan Howard from the Chicago Bears, but Philadelphia hopes to end up with a steal after drafting former Penn State star Miles Sanders back in April during the draft.
Take this into consideration with the fact that Philadelphia already had Corey Clement on the roster, and convinced Darren Sproles to give it a go for another year, the Eagles have four solid running backs to work with each week.
What makes this group even more special for the Eagles is everybody seems to be on the same page of not being selfish over carries, meaning Pederson can ride with the hot hand when needed.
As Philadelphia fans remember well, this was a similar approach that worked out perfectly two years ago when the team pulled off an epic run at their first Super Bowl title.
Does this mean the Eagles should feel confident enough in this happening again? One game is difficult to determine whether this will happen, but at least Philadelphia should feel confident in the group putting them in better position on offense.
