2. Leonard Fournette

When healthy, Leonard Fournette has shown a ton of potential to one day become a top running back in the NFL, but unfortunately avoiding injuries has been a major issue for the former LSU star.

More from Section 215

During 13 games as a rookie in which he rushed for 1,040 yards to go along with nine touchdowns, this seemed to be just the beginning of what looked like was going to be a bright future for Fournette as a member of the Jaguars.

However, there seems to be some tension between the two parties at the moment when looking at how Fournette appears to be unhappy over his contract situation. And when taking this into consideration along with the step back Jacksonville took as a team in 2018, it’s tough not to wonder if the team would explore all options when it comes to Fournette at running back.

Philadelphia’s situation at running back will be heavily monitored this offseason since the futures of both Jay Ajayi and Darren Sproles are uncertain at the moment.

If Fournette were to become available in a potential trade, there’s no question the Eagles would be wise to explore this possibility since he would immediately become the No. 1 option in the backfield, and could handle most of the workload in 2019, as long as he remains healthy.
