3 players Eagles should target from Jaguars in potential Nick Foles trade
By Dan Parzych
3. Dede Westbrook
First off, the Eagles would obviously be looking for a draft pick or two in any potential trade involving for Foles and Dede Westbrook, mainly because the two players are nowhere near the same level talent wise.
Everyone knows what Foles is capable of as a quarterback after watching his success over the last two seasons in Philadelphia, and while Westbrook wouldn’t solve all the issues at receiver, the youngster would certainly make a nice addition.
After limited action as a rookie in 2017, Westbrook was one of the few highlights on offense for the Jaguars during his sophomore campaign this past season after catching 66 passes for 717 yards to go along with five touchdowns.
With Allen Robinson and Allen Hurns no longer in the mix, Westbrook received a larger role in 2018, and even though he may not be worthy of being a top wideout in the passing game, just imagine what he could do in an offense like the Eagles.
By playing alongside other key receivers in Alshon Jeffery and Nelson Agholor, Westbrook could benefit from seeing additional passes thrown in his direction if the others receive more attention from defenders.
Of course, as mentioned before, the main deciding factors in this one could be what kind of draft picks the Jaguars would consider in the deal as well since the Eagles know just how valuable of a player Foles is.
