2. Bryce Harper

When everything is all said and done, one can only imagine the ridiculous contract Bryce Harper is going to have moving forward since the outfielder has known for quite some time this offseason was going to result in him receiving quite the pay day.

Rightfully so, Harper has been considered one of the most dangerous outfielders in baseball when looking at how much of a power hitter he’s proven to be throughout his career.

Best part is, Harper still seems to have some of his best baseball ahead of him when taking into consideration he just turned 26 this past October, and is coming off a 2018 season in which he hit 100 RBIs for the first time to go along with 34 home runs.

While many will try to point out that Harper’s home run total should be much higher, it should also be noted that he set a career high of 130 walks, showing just how fearful some pitchers are of him going yard each time he steps up to the plate.

For quite some time, the Phillies have been one of the teams linked to Harper since they are only one of a few candidates that could actually afford to reward him with the kind of contract he’s looking for. Harper certainly won’t come cheap, but there’s no question he would be worth every penny when seeing how stronger of a position this would put Philadelphia in when it comes to the National League in general.

Plus, how amazing would it feel to take Harper away from the Washington Nationals?
