3. LeSean McCoy

There was plenty of frustration on LeSean McCoy‘s end towards the Eagles back in 2015 when the team traded him to the Buffalo Bills since he was still viewed as one of the league’s top running back. But after seeing how awful things turned out to be with Chip Kelly before Philadelphia would eventually go on to fire their former head coach, McCoy seems like he would welcome a return to his former team with open arms.

Despite being one of the biggest surprise contenders last year after earning a Wild Card spot in the AFC, the Bills have been one of the most difficult teams to figure out this season, especially when it comes to their offense. With Buffalo throwing Josh Allen into the mix when he’s clearly still a work in progress, McCoy seems like he would be better off on another team that actually has a shot at competing for a playoff spot, although the verdict is still out on the Bills.

To make this scenario even more interesting, reports are beginning to surface about how Philadelphia already reached out to Buffalo over a potential deal involving McCoy. As mentioned before, there was plenty of frustration before, but there’s no question McCoy would love another opportunity to play for the Eagles.

Of course, with all of the extra baggage McCoy would bring this time around when looking at all of his off-the-field issues, Philadelphia must also take into consideration about whether this would even be worth all of the trouble.
