1. Los Angeles Rams

It was closer than expected when looking at how some of their previous games have gone, but seeing the Los Angeles Rams hang on for the thrilling 33-31 win over the Seattle Seahawks shows once again why they’re a strong Super Bowl contender. The fact that Sean McVay felt confident enough to have Jared Goff perform a quarterback sneak on a gutsy fourth down play to seal the deal shows how special of a team the Rams have, and they’re only going to continue getting better if all goes well.

More from Section 215

With that being said, this loss ended up being brutal for Los Angeles as well since they lost both Brandin Cooks and Cooper Kupp to concussions, although it was great to see Robert Woods continue to step up when needed the most.

Not to mention, Todd Gurley continues to be a touchdown machine for the Rams on offense after adding three more to his total on the 2018 season, making another strong case early on for the MVP award.

Obviously, there is still plenty of football left, and the thought of discussing Gurley’s MVP chances sounds ridiculous, but isn’t that part of the fun going on in Los Angeles?

After a 5-0 start, this team continues to build their case as the best in the NFC, and rightfully so when looking at the way the Rams are winning games.
