The Philadelphia Eagles are a couple of days away from competing against the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl 59. This is a pivotal time in Eagles history as they seek to get revenge on a Chiefs team that defeated them two years ago.

The Eagles have stars all over the roster like Jalen Hurts, Saquon Barkley, A.J. Brown, Darius Slay, and Jalen Carter to name a few. Those guys have been stellar throughout the year and have received a ton of praise.

Despite that, GM Howie Roseman did an exceptional job adding talent throughout the roster. He added two value players last spring who have played major factors on this roster.

Linebacker Oren Burks signed a one-year deal and is going to hit free agency. Once Nakobe Dean went down with a patellar tendon in his left knee against the Green Bay Packers, Burks took his role and looks to cash in during free agency.

In the past two games, Burks has played in more than 90% of defensive snaps. This postseason, he's logged 20 total tackles, three TFLs, and one sack. According to PFF, Burks has a 73.7 overall grade (12th among 53 eligible defenders ) and a 74.1 coverage grade (5th among 53 eligible defenders).

With the biggest game of his career on the horizon, Burks is ready for the challenge. He's set to hit free agency this March and a strong performance will help him at the negotiating table.

Guard Mekhi Becton is another player who signed a low-cost deal but had a big impact on the team. He inked a one-year, $2.75 million deal with Philadelphia and started 15 games at guard for the Birds.

The Louisville product has been a bruising force upfront. According to Pro Football Focus, Becton finished the regular season with a 75.2 overall grade (21st among 135 eligible guards) and a 74.7 run-blocking grade (19th among 135 eligible guards).

This postseason, he's allowed just one hit and moved defenders in the run game. With another strong performance in the Super Bowl, he'll put himself in a great position to earn a lot of money in free agency. Teams are looking for upgrades along the offensive line.

These two players signed with the Eagles with a total of $3.875 million but with strong Super Bowl outings, they'll cash in when free agency rolls around.
