For the Philadelphia Eagles organization and fans, the main focus this week is winning the Super Bowl. After all, this is the second time they've been to the big dance in the past three seasons, and they would like to get revenge on the team that beat them two years ago.
That said, a huge piece of NFL news surfaced on Monday morning when Cleveland Browns star defensive end Myles Garrett requested a trade. Garrett's trade request became the biggest talking point on radio row Monday, with everyone speculating that their team could land him. Although the odds he lands in Philadelphia are slim they aren't exactly zero as general manager Howie Roseman has a track record of acquiring game changers.
On Wednesday, Garrett spoke to SiriusXM's Zach Gelb about a potential move to Philadelphia. Garret said, “It would be a hell of a destination.” Garrett also added that he knows his fate isn’t in his hands, but he wants to play meaningful football.

Myles Garrett Would Love to Play For the Eagles
Garrett's comments on joining the Eagles aren't surprising at all. Over the past eight seasons,
Philadelphia has reached the Super Bowl three times: 2018, 2022, and 2024. Furthermore, the Eagles have made it to the playoffs in six of those eight campaigns.
In Garrett's eight-year career, the Browns have only reached the playoffs twice and never made it to a Super Bowl. For a player of Garrett's caliber, it can feel like a waste of his talents. In Philadelphia, Garrett's talent would not only continue to be appreciated, but he would actually have a chance to add a Super Bowl ring to his Hall of Fame career.
Nevertheless, an Eagles and Garrett pairing seems impossible due to cap restrictions. Yet, if both sides were able to work something out, it would be a win-win scenario for both parties.
