The 2025 NFL Draft is finally upon us after countless weeks of rumors, visits, Pro Days, and the NFL Combine. The Philadelphia Eagles secured the Super Bowl last season, but they are tasked with retooling this roster.

The Eagles have their offensive foundation locked, including running back Saquon Barkley. They also signed A.J. Dillon in free agency, along with Will Shipley in the fold. That is a solid trio at the position, but a running back in this draft class has some kind words to say about Philadelphia.

Texas RB Jaydon Blue visited the Eagles' facility and loved his visit.

He said, "I really like Philly, Philly is very cool. I love their facility. They were a great staff, and it was just fun."

While everyone knows the running game runs through Barkley, Blue is someone who could bring speed to the group. According to the Athletic's Dane Brugler, Blue has a fifth-round draft grade, which would bode well for the Eagles since they have four fifth-round picks currently.

Blue has the quickness and speed to run away from defenders with good hands as a pass-catcher. Last season with the Texas Longhorns, Blue had 730 rushing yards, 368 receiving yards, and 14 total touchdowns.

The idea of having Blue on the team is exciting, considering the traits he would bring to the group. Adding another explosive weapon with a Day 3 pick is the exact type of dart throw teams should be making.

Whether or not that happens remains to be seen, but Blue's interaction with the Eagles was a positive one. They left a good impression on the young tailback, and he would love to join this roster.

The Eagles are always a team to watch during draft weekend, and that will be the case once again this year.
