Super Bowl Champion Interested in Coming Out of Retirement For Eagles
All 32 teams in the NFL are starting to prepare for the 2024 season with minicamps taking place around the league.
The Philadelphia Eagles own a stacked roster that only improved this offseason. They've made the playoffs for three straight years, with back-to-back double-digit win campaigns.
With the additions of Saquon Barkley, Bryce Huff, Chauncey Gardner-Johnson, Cooper DeJean, and Quinyon Mitchell, the excitement is through the roof for the Birds.
That eagerness is starting to rub off and a former Super Bowl champion would love to join the Eagles in 2024.
Eagles News: Chris Harris Jr. Would Un-Retire to Join the Eagles
Chris Harris Jr. was a guest on the "Up and Adams" show this week, where he was asked what NFL team would have the easiest time getting him to come out of retirement.
"Definitely I could go play with the Eagles"

He also said, "They already have a veteran secondary. I know Fangio's system. I can learn it really fast if he's added anything new. Having veteran corners. So I definitely think I could go up there and fit with those guys."
Harris Jr. and Fangio spent the 2019 season together with the Denver Broncos so that's why he alluded to the 65-year-old coach.
GM Howie Roseman revamped this secondary after an abysmal 2023 season. They finished 31st in pass defense (252.7 yards per game allowed) so they made key additions to the unit.
The Eagles now have top-end talent but also have depth in the secondary with the likes of Isaiah Rodgers, Shon Stephens, and Avonte Maddox on the roster for 2024.
Harris Jr. likely wouldn't play due to the abundance of players but his experience is intriguing. The Kansas product has played in eight playoff games, notching 36 total tackles and securing Super Bowl 50.
It's unlikely that the Eagles would call him out of retirement but this answer showcased how the team is perceived around NFL circles. The expectation is sky-high this season.
