Quinyon Mitchell Botches Eagles' Logo in Hilarious Draft Video

Quinyon Mitchell is a fantastic football player. Unfortunately, the Philadelphia Eagles rookie CB is the complete opposite when it comes to art.

The Philadelphia Eagles had one of the best performances of the 2024 NFL Draft and it all began when they drafted Toledo's Quinyon Mitchell with the 22nd overall selection. The 22-year-old cornerback is one of the best CB prospects in this year's class and Eagles fans are dying to see what he can do on the NFL gridiron.

Mitchell is a terrific football player, without a question, but that doesn't mean he's good at everything he does. A recently released draft day video reveals that it would be wise if the former Rocket avoided a future career in the arts.

Eagles News: Quinyon Mitchell Botches Team Logo

On Thursday, the Eagles shared a video of Mitchell attempting to draw the team logo from memory. While no one expected a perfect recreation, it's safe to say that the rookie defender's attempt was... shockingly terrible.

You can check out exactly what I mean by that by watching the Eagles' video on X (formerly Twitter).

An imperfect drawing was expected given that Mitchell was likely asked to draw the video mere moments after he was drafted into the NFL. At the same time, the ex-LSU product's attempt doesn't even resemble an Eagle, let alone any kind of bird from this planet. Hell, it doesn't even have a beak!

Fortunately, Mitchell's botched drawing isn't that serious and it seems like everyone is having fun with it. Eagles fans replied to the video in complete disbelief, wondering how the Williston, FL native missed the mark by that much.

At least we can take solace in the fact that Mitchell will be doing what he does best come the fall: playing football, not drawing. He excelled as a ballhawk throughout his final three years at Toledo, breaking up 45 passes while recording six interceptions (including two Pick-6s) and 93 solo tackles. He was also named first-team All-MAC in each of the last two seasons.

If he can reach those heights as a pro, Eagles fans won't remember his dismal doodle.

Speaking of Eagles fans, the franchise's supporters are having a lot of fun with Mitchell's attempt at the logo. Here's a look at some of the most hilarious replies thus far.

Nevertheless, there won't be much laughing going on if Mitchell helps bring a championship to the City of Brotherly Love next February. The Eagles currently hold the seventh-best Super Bowl LIX odds (+1400) on FanDuel Sportsbook.

Perhaps Mitchell can attempt to draw the Lombardi Trophy if the Eagles go all the way. Then again, maybe it's best if he doesn't.
