Phillies Release Epic Hype Video Ahead of 2023 MLB Playoffs

October really is the best time of year for sports fans. Football season is in full swing, the NBA and NHL get underway, and best of all, we have playoff baseball.
The Phillies surprised us all by making it to the World Series last year after sneaking into the postseason as an 87-win Wild Card team. We're a Wild Card team again this year, but hopes are higher after a 90-win season with an improved roster.
Philadelphia kicks off its postseason schedule at home against the Miami Marlins on Tuesday, and the Phillies released an amazing hype video to help get fans fired up for Game 1 of the NL Wild Card Series.

Phillies Playoff Hype Video
The video -- which is nearly three minutes long -- starts slowly with several Phillies players sitting down for an interview, including Bryce Harper and Kyle Schwarber.
The video quickly takes off from there, launching into a brief series of highlights from the season, including Bryce Harper's 300th career home run, Michael Lorenzen's no-hitter and the team clinching a postseason berth.
The brief film backtracks from there, going back to the start of Spring Training and telling the story of the team's season chronologically. From Philly's slow start to Harper's historic return from Tommy John surgery to the team's late-season surge, you can really feel the momentum build.
The video also makes a point to recognize the role Phillies fans have played in the team's success, specifically by helping Trea Turner turn his season around and break out of his terrible slump after getting a standing ovation from the home crowd.
Philadelphia and its fans have come a long way together this season, but there's still work to be done. The Phillies open the playoffs with back-to-back home games against the Marlins, so they're counting on fans to bring the noise and give them a boost.
