The Philadelphia Eagles have one of the most talented rosters in the NFL. They roll into 2024 with Super Bowl aspirations after an eventful offseason.

The Eagles signed Saquon Barkley, Bryce Huff, and Chauncey Gardner-Johnson in free agency before bolstering the secondary in the NFL Draft with Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean.

Despite the Eagles being loaded for this fall, some new details have come out regarding the relationship between Jalen Hurts and head coach Nick Sirianni.

Eagles News: The Relationship Between Nick Sirianni and Jalen Hurts Needs Work

Dianna Russini of the Athletic was on the podcast "Scoop City" and she revealed that the relationship between Hurts and Sirianni is a work in progress.

"It's a relationship that's a work in progress. Right so last year there was some disconnect right between them in their personalities. Those ten wins were a grind from what I was told. Every win felt like a really big feat for them because of the challenges that they were facing in terms of what they were doing on offense. It was Nick Sirianni's show. Everything you saw on that field was Sirianni. "

That is something to monitor this season certainly. After starting 10-1 last year, the Eagles flamed out, dropping six of their last seven games.

This downward spiral led to Sirianni's job being questioned toward the end of the year. The Eagles decided to roll with Sirianni again this season but the pressure is on.

Hurts is signed through 2027 so he'll be their franchise quarterback for the foreseeable future. As for Sirianni, if the Eagles don't improve this season, he'll be on the outs. And getting on the bad side of the franchise quarterback would only serve to expedite his departure from Philly.

As thing stand, the Eagles are tied for the second-best odds to win the NFC this season at +600 on FanDuel Sportsbook. A return to the Super Bowl would certainly go a long way to easing any potential tension in the clubhouse.
