All eyes were on Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts this week following confirmation he's dealing with a knee injury. While the details of the ailment have avoided fans, the QB has made it clear he's not worried about the issue.

Though Hurts wearing a brace in Week 7 is what put the focus on his health, it turns out Hurts hasn't been 100% for a while.

Jalen Hurts Injury Update

FOX Sports' Jay Glazer reported prior to kickoff that Hurts is actually dealing with a bone bruise, making this more than just a minor tweak. Glazer also said the dual threat has been hampered for four weeks, and the injury was re-aggravated in Week 7 but he "plays through this stuff."

This update certainly adds to the concern surrounding Hurts' health. It's obvious the problem hasn't gotten better if it's lasted this long. The QB also playing through it means he's at risk of aggravating it, just like what happened against the Miami Dolphins.

With two tough divisional matchups against Washington on Sunday and the Dallas Cowboys in Week 9, Hurts won't get any cupcake opponents where he can things easy, either.

There is some light at the end of the tunnel, though. Philadelphia's bye is right after the Cowboys game, which should give the hurting quarterback some much-needed time to rest. A week off could do wonders for Hurts and hopefully set him up to get back to 100% (or close to it) ahead of the second half of the season.

Now, Eagles fans just have to hope their rivals don't take advantage of the QB's injury before he gets his opportunity to recover properly.
