Jason Kelce Officially Lands First Job Post-Retirement
Jason Kelce was a member of the Philadelphia Eagles for 13 years before officially retiring this offseason. Throughout his tenure with the Birds, he was a mauling force in the interior while also being an exceptional leader.
During his career, he was a seven-time Pro Bowler and was a First-Team All-Pro on six different occasions.
He now takes this knowledge to the booth as he just landed his first job after retiring from the NFL.
Eagles News: Jason Kelce Will Be on ESPN for the 2024 Season
According to Andrew Marchand of the Athletic, Kelce is heading to ESPN and will be apart of their "Monday Night Football" pregame crew.
The 36-year-old was a popular choice for many different networks but ultimately landed with ESPN.
Jason and his brother Travis have a podcast called "New Heights", where he expressed his interest in joining the national media and garnered interest from NBC, CBS, and Amazon.
Many assumed Jason would join Amazon after he and his wife, Kylie, had a documentary called "Kelce", which followed him around in his last season.
Instead, Kelce now will join one of the most prominent and well-known sports companies in the country.
The former Super Bowl champion isn't the only major addition that ESPN snatched up this offseason. Former Patriots head coach Bill Belichick will appear on "The Pat McAfee Show" on Mondays, while also being a regular guest on the "Manningcast", featuring Peyton and Eli Manning.
Even though Kelce won't be suiting up, he will still have a strong voice in the NFL. This time, it'll be from a different lens.
