Former Eagles Draft Bust Lands New NFL Home Ahead of Week 4
The Philadelphia Eagles are 2-1 after pulling out a gritty win over the New Orleans Saints on Sunday. It hasn't been smooth sailing through three weeks but winning in the NFL is hard to do. You'll take any win no matter how you get it.
The Eagles are now putting their attention on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who they square off against in Week 4.
Despite what's going on in Philly, former players are looking to find new homes. And on Monday, a former draft bust found his new home.
NFL News: Jalen Reagor Signs With Los Angeles Chargers
According to Jordan Schultz, the Los Angeles Chargers are adding receiver Jalen Reagor to the practice squad, with the plan to eventually elevate him to the active roster.
Reagor was selected in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft by the Eagles. The TCU product was in Philly for two years but failed miserably to make an impact. In 28 games, Reagor logged 64 receptions for 695 yards, and three touchdowns.
Philadelphia ended up trading Reagor away to the Minnesota Vikings in Aug. 2022. He didn't last there either, getting released in 2023. Following his departure there, the 25-year-old signed with the New England Patriots.
After 11 games with the Pats, he was released last week and has been gauging the open market since. Now he has a chance to get elevated to the Chargers active roster but only time will tell.
Things didn't work out in his last three destinations. But for his sake, hopefully, the fourth time is the charm!
