The Philadelphia Eagles are looking to bounce back on Sunday after they had a disappointing letdown on Monday Night Football against the Atlanta Falcons.

All teams are focused on their Week 3 opponents while also making moves along the roster. On Tuesday afternoon, a former Eagles first-round pick was released after a surprising social media post.

NFL News: New England Patriots Have Released Jalen Reagor

Per Doug Kyed of The Boston Herald, the Patriots are letting go of receiver Jalen Reagor from the practice squad.

This move came after Reagor posted a picture on social media of a luxury sports car parked, basically implying that was him on the Pats practice squad. A speedy threat that isn't being utilized.

His confidence is certainly sky-high but his play on the field never matched that. The Eagles selected Reagor with the No. 21 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft but he never developed into a quality playmaker.

In four seasons with the Eagles, Minnesota Vikings, and New England Patriots, Reagor has only recorded 79 receptions (147 targets) for 937 yards, and four touchdowns.

The TCU product not being able to crack the 53-man roster in New England speaks volumes. The Pats have one of the worst receiving cores in the league but Reagor still couldn't land a spot. After two weeks, New England ranks 29th in the NFL in passing offense (122.5).

This may signal the end of Reagor's tenure in the NFL, as this was his third team in the past four years. He failed to make a positive impact in any of those locations.
