The past couple of months have been the offseason of change for the Philadelphia Eagles. Things didn't go well for Philly in 2023 and they decided to flip things around.

The biggest moves came on the field when they signed Saquon Barkley, Bryce Huff, and Chauncey Gardner Johnson in free agency. In the 2024 NFL Draft, they nabbed two CBs in Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean.

But regardless of the additions, they lost two veteran leaders Jason Kelce and Fletcher Cox, both of whom retired.

That wasn't their only loss. A longtime executive parted ways with the Eagles in March but he failed to land a new job with a divisional foe.

Eagles News: Jake Rosenberg Failed to Land A Job With the Washington Commanders

The Washington Commanders were looking to hire someone for a high-ranking front office role and they interviewed former Eagles VP of football administration Jake Rosenberg. The Commanders decided to hire former Detroit Lions exec Brandon Sosna instead.

Rosenberg ultimately left the Eagles in March in hopes of advancing his NFL career.

He joined the Eagles front office back in 2012. Rosenberg suited up in many different roles before he was promoted to vice president of football administration.

The New Jersey native played a key role in salary cap management, contract negotiations, and strategic planning.

Rosenberg's dream is to be an NFL GM, which was another reason why he decided to walk away from Philly. Unfortunately for him, he'll have to wait a little longer to find another job since the Commanders decided to pass.
