The last time the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles met was nine months ago in Super Bowl LVII. The two teams combined for one of the greatest Super Bowls ever played -- a 38-35 thriller that saw the Chiefs erase a 10-point halftime deficit and win its second title in four seasons.

The Eagles will have a chance for revenge this week, however, when they travel to Kansas City for Monday Night Football. All eyes will be on Arrowhead to see if Jalen Hurts can lead Philadelphia past Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs.

This should be a terrific game, and the Week 11 opening odds agree.

Chiefs vs Eagles Opening Odds

Unfortunately for Eagles fans, sportsbooks are predicting a repeat of the Super Bowl's outcome. As of Monday afternoon, Kansas City is listed as a 3-point favorite at FanDuel Sportsbook, which means the oddsmakers expect the Chiefs to win this game by about a field goal as well.

The line isn't too surprising, as home-field advantage is typically worth about a field goal on NFL betting lines. And as we saw in last year's Super Bowl, these teams are evenly matched.

If anything, though, Philadelphia looks like the better team right now. The Eagles have the best record in the NFL at 8-1, while Kansas City is tied with the Detroit Lions for the second-best record at 7-2. Both teams are coming off their bye, but the Chiefs recently suffered an embarrassing 24-9 road loss to the Denver Broncos in Week 8 that is still fresh in the minds of many viewers.

Philadelphia is 4-1 on the road and has the better offense, ranking top-5 in both points and yards per game. Kansas City is 4-1 at home and has the better defense, ranking top-5 in both fewest points and yards allowed per game.

Given that, the spread for this game should be closer to 1-1.5 points, making this game more of a pick'em. Andy Reid may be the best post-bye week coach of all time (21-3 after the bye), but Nick Sirianni is off to a great start in that department as well (2-0).

This game could go either way, but don't be surprised if the Eagles prove the oddsmakers wrong and pull off the road upset here.
