Eagles vs Bills Week 12 Opening Odds Still Disrespecting Philly
By Tyler Maher
It wasn't easy, but the Philadelphia Eagles pulled out another win on Monday Night Football against the Kansas City Chiefs. They overcame a 10-point halftime deficit to win their Super Bowl LVII rematch 21-17, improving to 9-1 on the season.
Now the Eagles head home to host another AFC contender when the Buffalo Bills come to town on Sunday. Let's see what the oddsmakers have to say about this crucial Thanksgiving weekend clash.
Eagles vs Bills Opening Odds
Tuesday's opening odds at FanDuel Sportsbook have the Eagles favored by 3 points at home, which is the standard cushion given to NFL home teams.
However, Philadelphia deserves to be favored by more than that. The Eagles just beat the defending Super Bowl champs by 4 points on the road. Now they get to return home -- where they are 4-0 this year -- to face a less-daunting Bills squad that was .500 before blowing out the New York Jets last week.
Buffalo has been wildly inconsistent this year and more bad than good lately. The Bills are just 3-4 over their last 7 games and are 1-3 on the road this year. Josh Allen's turnovers have been a major problem for Buffalo, too, as he leads the NFL in interceptions with 12 and has fumbled four times as well.
Philadelphia has won four straight games, all by at least 4 points. The Eagles have only gotten better as the season's progressed, whereas the Bills have gone in the opposite direction.
Look for the better team to cover the spread at home this week and send Buffalo back to .500.
