The Philadelphia Eagles released their final injury report on Thursday ahead of Friday night’s game against the Green Bay Packers.

For the most part, the Eagles are entering the Week 1 contest with a team at full health, except at linebacker and in the secondary. On Wednesday, it was reported that veteran linebacker Devin White wasn’t traveling with the team due to an ankle injury.

Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni told reporters on Thursday that White tweaked his ankle during practice this week, forcing him to miss the game, per Chris Franklin of NJ.com.

In addition to the update on White, we also found out on Thursday that the Eagles will be without cornerback Isaiah Rodgers, per Zach Berman of PHLY.

Berman adds that fans should look for rookie cornerback Quinyon Mitchell to play every snap, possibly starting on the outside and moving inside in nickel with second-year cornerback Kelee Ringo playing on the perimeter.

Eagles fans likely weren’t excited to hear that Rodgers would be out with a hand injury. However, Philadelphia has a lot of depth at cornerback that they can lean on for Friday night, as they have Darius Slay, Mitchell, Ringo, Eli Ricks, Avonte Maddox, and Cooper DeJean.

That said, without Rodgers starting on the outside, the Eagles will hope Slay and Mitchell can make life tough for the Packers’ offense, which features multiple good receivers in Christian Watson, Jayden Reed, and Romeo Doubs.

It won’t be easy for the rookie, but if he can hold his own and not give up a ton of big plays, the Eagles’ pass defense should be okay.
