Eagles Reportedly Targeting Young Star Defender in Free Agency
The Philadelphia Eagles are going to make some moves during the offseason to improve the roster after a disappointing end to the 2023 campaign.
They are heading into free agency with $42.9 million in cap space and are expected to be aggressive in upgrading the roster. Some shocking news that came out is that Philly is shopping both edge rushers Josh Sweat and Hasson Reddick.
Both of these studs are heading into the final year of their deals and will be looking for another payday. Reddick has already made it known he would like to receive a contract extension this offseason.
With the Eagles shopping their two best edge rushers, they are expected to heavily pursue edge Bryce Huff in free agency per Dianna Russini of the Athletic.

Huff is coming off the best season of his career with the New York Jets, logging a career-high 10 sacks.
The 25-year-old came into the league in 2020 as a UDFA out of the University of Memphis and has emerged as speedy, pass-rusher off the edge. In four seasons, Huff has registered 65 total tackles and 17.5 sacks.
Huff hasn't hit his full potential yet due to him being a rotation player for the Jets. With Reddick and Sweat possibly on the way out, Huff would be a terrific addition for Philadelphia.
