The Philadelphia Eagles are looking to retool after a disappointing end to the 2023 season. After starting the year 10-1, the Eagles dropped six of their last seven games, including a 32-9 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the Wild Card Round.

The roster needs a few tweaks but they have a championship-caliber team. They need to keep their key players on the squad going into 2024 and that starts with linebacker Haason Reddick.

According to Jake Rabadi of LibertyLinePHL, the Eagles are offering Reddick an extension in the range of $20-$22 million per season. Meanwhile, the 29-year-old and his camp are looking to lock down a three-year deal at $25 million a year.

Since arriving in the city of Brotherly Love in 2022, Reddick has been a menace off the edge. The two-time Pro Bowl selection uses his blazing quick get-off and bend to consistently generate pressure.

He's compiled 27 sacks over the past two years. Additionally, Reddick has finished with double-digit sacks in four straight seasons.

With the salary cap increasing by more than $30 million in 2024, it would be smart for the Eagles to pony up more money to retain their best edge rusher. Potentially losing Reddick over $3-5 million wouldn't be a wise move.
