Former Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator Shane Steichen continues to poach his former colleagues to the Indianapolis Colts, where he has been the head coach since 2023.

The Colts just announced their complete coaching staff for the 2024 season and it includes a few names familiar to Eagles fans.

Eagles Lose More Staff to Shane Steichen's Colts

Mike Minnis, who has been the director of performance nutrition for the Eagles, will be joining the Colts as director of sports performance.

Earlier in the winter, Alex Tanney, who was the quarterbacks coach for the Eagles last season, was announced as the new offensive pass game coordinator for the Colts.

In his two seasons in Philadelphia, Steichen coordinated some of the best offenses in the league. In that span, the Eagles ranked first in rushing yards per game and rushing touchdowns while having fewest interceptions. The Eagles offense also set single-season franchise records for third-down conversion rates in consecutive years.

This offensive production landed Steichen the Colts job. Despite losing franchise quarterback Anthony Richardson to injury early in the season, Indianapolis exceeded expectations by coming one game short of a playoff berth. The Colts offense, which ranked 30th in points the year prior, finished 2023 as the tenth-best offense in terms of points per game.

The Eagles, on the other hand, took a little bit of a step back last season under offensive coordinator Brian Johnson. He was replaced by Kellen Moore, who had successful stints as OC with the Cowboys and the Chargers.

The Birds have the fourth-best odds to win the NFC next season (+800) on FanDuel Sportsbook. There have to be major improvements on both ends of the ball for that to happen. If you think the new coaching staff under Nick Sirianni can accomplish that, head over to FanDuel and take advantage of their sign-up offer of $150 in bonus bets after you make a $5 winning wager.
