Eagles Fan Favorite to Announce Round 2 Draft Picks

The wait is over and the 2024 NFL Draft is upon us. The Philadelphia Eagles, like every other NFL team, are looking to bolster their roster with young talent using their eight draft picks in seven rounds. Perhaps the most pivotal round for the Eagles' draft will be the second round where general manager Howie Roseman has to make two selections, one at no. 50 and other at no. 53.

Fittingly, there will be an Eagles legend announcing those pivotal selections. Brandon Graham will be there on Friday night to make the announcement for his team for both of the picks.

The NFL is having the legends of the game show up to Day 2 of the draft to add to the excitement of the occasion. Barry Sanders, Calvin Johnson, and Isaac Bruce are some of the names who will announce draft selections.

The longest-tenured member of the Eagles, Brandon Graham is certainly the right choice for Philadelphia. The star defender is from Detroit, where the Draft is being held, and he is about to embark on his 15th and final NFL season. It will be a momentous occasion representing the passing of the torch from a veteran to the new generation of Eagles.

The Eagles could certainly make trades to shift the draft order on Day 2. However, as long as they have a draft selection, it will be Graham who will be announcing it. Even on the off chance that Philadelphia doesn't end up with a pick, it sounds like the Detroit native will be happy to be home.
