With the 2024 NFL Draft on the horizon, a few players could be put on the trade block based on what the Philadelphia Eagles do.

The Philadelphia Eagles will be looking to find multiple starters and contributors in the 2024 NFL Draft. The Eagles have eight selections across the three-day event, including three picks within the top 100.

With the Eagles likely looking for depth in the trenches on both sides of the ball, cornerback, and linebacker, it could also signal the end of the line for a few players who have been with the team.

The Eagles shockingly traded star pass rusher Haason Reddick to the New York Jets earlier this offseason for draft capital. Philadelphia isn’t afraid to trade veterans as they try to find different ways to improve this roster.

Below, we’ll highlight a few players who could be on the trade block with the 2024 NFL Draft set to begin on Thursday night.

1. James Bradberry

If the Eagles decide to draft a cornerback with their first pick on Thursday night, it could spell the end for Bradberry.

The 30-year-old defensive back had a terrible 2023 season as he got picked on by opposing QBs every week. Bradberry was outstanding in 2022, outside of the holding penalty called on him in the Super Bowl.

However, Bradberry couldn’t recapture that magic last season as he posted a 59.4 completion percentage allowed on targets, a 114.3 pass rating allowed when targeted (career-worst), and 11 receiving touchdowns (career-high).

Bradberry’s season was almost a perfect microcosm of how the 2023 campaign went for the Eagles but the defense as an entire unit.

It might be tough for Philadelphia to trade Bradberry as he signed a three-year, $38 million deal last offseason. But the veteran cornerback has a potential out in his contract in 2025, which could make him a somewhat appealing trade candidate.
