The vibes around the Philadelphia Eagles are incredibly poor right now following two straight embarrassing losses. The most frustrating part of this stretch is the fact the Eagles simply aren't playing up to their potential considering the incredible talent they boast on both sides of the ball.
With this team getting in its own way, fans are determined to give the team a wake-up call. That includes even going to players directly and telling them to step up.

Philadelphia offensive tackle Jordan Mailata told SportsRadio 94WIP of a run-in he had with a Birds fan following Week 14. The stranger said to him, “You need stop with the damn Christmas carols and learn to pass block.”
As you can tell, no one who follows this team is in particularly jolly spirits right now because of the Eagles' struggles. This anger does appear to be a bit misplaced, however, as CBS' Jeff Kerr noted Mailata and his crew recorded their new album in the offseason.

Mailata wasn't even the biggest person to blame following the loss to the Dallas Cowboys, either. He was actually the second-highest rated O-lineman, per PFF's single-game grades, on Sunday night.

Regardless, this fan exchange just shows how down fans are on Nick Sirianni's squad at the moment. They had two chances to flex their muscles as one of the NFC's top contenders, but now they're suddenly in the pretender conversation after dropping both contests.
Sirianni and co. can get back in the city's good graces with a strong performance down the stretch. They still have a shot at capturing the conference's No. 1 seed, and they own the easiest remaining strength of schedule (per Tankathon), so all hope isn't lost just yet.
