The Philadelphia Eagles have made a great deal of moves to bolster the roster over the past few weeks. They were active in the free-agent market and added an abundance of talent but they are still going to make moves throughout the offseason.

A month ago, the Eagles gave Haason Reddick permission to seek a trade after he expressed he would like a new contract as he heads into the final year of his deal.

It appeared that Josh Sweat was on his way out of town but he will be staying in Philly after both sides agreed to terms on a restructured contract. The deal includes $10 million guaranteed but can reach $13 million in incentives.

With Sweat, Bryce Huff, and Nolan Smith locked in for next season it looks like Reddick is the odd man out. According to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, Philadelphia is moving Reddick's $1 million roster bonus to April 1. Originally it was due on March 15.

Fowler thinks this move was made to give the Eagles more time to find a trade partner before shelving out a million dollars.

Eagles News: Philadelphia Moves Haason Reddick Roster Bonus Down the Line

Reddick is an effective speed rusher coming off the edge. The two-time Pro Bowl selection uses his blazing quick get-off to generate pressure in the backfield.

The Temple product has recorded 58 career sacks, including double-digit sacks in four consecutive seasons. Reddick can certainly boost a team's pass rush but that organization needs to be comfortable trading draft capital and also giving Reddick a contract extension.

That may be the current roadblock in trade talks and pushing Reddick's roster bonus back two weeks gives the front office more time to orchestrate a deal.

Regardless of whether they keep or trade Reddick, the Eagles have one of the best teams in the league and own a real shot of reaching Super Bowl LIX. They currently have the seventh-best odds in the NFL to win the whole thing at +1600. Head over to FanDuel Sportsbook, claim your sign-up bonus, and take advantage of these odds to back the Eagles.
