Dallas Goedert Gets Shocking New Injury Update to Begin Week 13
The Philadelphia Eagles have a huge week ahead with the San Francisco 49ers coming to town. This contest could either break open the race for the NFC's No. 1 seed and home-field advantage, or essentially lock things up for the Eagles down the stretch.
Everyone around Philadelphia knows how important a win on Sunday would be. And it turns out the weight of this matchup could lead to the return of injured tight end Dallas Goedert.

Eagles News: Dallas Goedert Injury Update
James Palmer of NFL Network reports Goedert "will push to play" versus San Francisco. Palmer notes it might not be possible and depends on how this week plays out, though he's been told it "seems very realistic" the TE could return for the date with the Dallas Cowboys two weeks from now.
It'd be a shock to say the least if Goedert is able to suit up. The Eagles deciding not to place Goedert on the injured reserved list showed some optimism he'd be back in under four weeks, so the Dallas rematch seemed like a realistic goal. It still sounds like that's very much on the table, but now he's making an effort to return even sooner than that.
Thankfully Sirianni's squad has continued to find ways to win despite missing Goedert and other key contributors. They've notched two big victories over the past two weeks against the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills, all while Goedert has been sidelined.
That being said, they'll gladly welcome the playmaking tight end back if he's healthy. Goedert is this passing attack's clear No. 3 option, recording 38 receptions, 410 yards and 3 touchdowns over his first nine appearances.
