The Philadelphia Eagles are looking to be Super Bowl contenders in 2024 and started off the new campaign with a bang. In Week 1, the Eagles defeated the Green Bay Packers 34-29 in the first-ever game played in Brazil.

Philadelphia's offense looked explosive, finishing with 410 total yards. They had a nice balance, gaining 266 yards through the air and 144 yards on the ground.

In Week 2, they are matching up against the Atlanta Falcons in a primetime battle on Monday Night Football.

But A.J. Brown popped up on the injury report on Friday.

Eagles News: AJ Brown Dealing with Hamstring Tightness

Brown felt some hamstring tightness during Friday's practice according to head coach Nick Sirianni and the team will be cautious with him.

The 27-year-old wasn't present at Saturday's practice, casting some doubt on his availability on Monday Night Football.

The three-time Pro Bowler is one of the top playmakers in the league and has been unstoppable since stepping foot in Philadelphia. Brown uses his rare combination of size, speed, and strength to cause havoc for defenses.

He's finished with 1,400-plus yards in consecutive seasons and at least seven touchdowns. The star receiver continued his dominance in Week 1, reeling in five catches for 119 yards and one touchdown. Brown torched Jaire Alexander for a 67-yard touchdown to give the Eagles a 24-19 lead at the beginning of the third quarter.

If Brown can't go on Monday Night Football, that'll be a blow to the Eagles' aerial attack. In 2023, the Falcons were ranked eighth in the NFL in pass defense (202.9).

As of now, the Eagles are still six-point favorites according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
