All-Pro Free Agent Rumored as Eagles Target After First Signings
The Philadelphia Eagles made some splash signings on the first day of free agency, inking Saquon Barkley and Bryce Huff to new deals. They also extended Landon Dickerson to a mega contract but they aren't done.
The Eagles are looking to bolster the secondary and have their eyes on an All-Pro safety.
Jesse Palmer of NFL Network said, "Justin Simmons, you could think would be one that the Eagles are targeting. Remember he played for Vic Fangio when he was the head coach in Denver. One of the best safeties out there in football."
He then added, "We'll see if the price could be right for the Philadelphia Eagles but that's a player they are looking for."

Eagles Rumors: Philadelphia Looking at Potentially Adding Justin Simmons
Philadelphia is looking to solidify the backend of the defense after they parted ways with Kevin Byard after one season with the team.
Simmons is an extremely rangy and disruptive defender. The 30-year-old has a nose for generating turnovers, leading the NFL with 30 interceptions since 2016.
Another interesting connection that Palmer alluded to is Simmons and Fangio were together in Denver from 2019-2021. During those three seasons together, Simmons had 269 total tackles, 14 interceptions, and 36 pass deflections.
The two-time Pro Bowler would immediately improve Philadelphia's secondary.
