3. Nick Sirianni, head coach

Well, we're four games through the 2024 season, and a lot of people out there on the internet are calling for Nick Sirianni to be fired as the head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles.

A lot of it is angry fans, but there is no question that some in the NFL world are legitimately putting it out there that he could be one of the top coaches in the league on the hot seat right now. And there are some valid reasons for that.

The Eagles' choke job last season was one for the ages after starting 10-1 and betting bounced in the playoffs immediately. Beyond that, they've started this season 2-2 and don't look like a legitimate threat in the NFC at this point. But the worst thing going for Nick Sirianni right now is the play of Jalen Hurts, oddly enough.

Hurts has regressed significantly since the Eagles lost the Super Bowl against the Kansas City Chiefs. In that game against the Chiefs, Hurts was so good that he could have been named Super Bowl MVP even in defeat. He looked like he was the best dual-threat quarterback in the NFL by a mile, even over guys like Lamar Jackson.

Since that time, Hurts has still been putting up numbers, but his turnovers have significantly increased and his ball security is horrific. Hurts has a 5.9 percent interception rate this season, which would easily be the worst of his NFL career if it holds up. He's averaging one per game (4 INTs this season) and he's got a whopping five fumbles in the first four games of the year.

Maybe the Eagles need a fresh face at head coach to come in and help get Jalen Hurts right because nine turnover-worthy plays in four games is unacceptable for someone of his pay grade. Hurts's downfall this season could end up costing Sirianni his job in 2025.
