Philadelphia Eagles fans got their first glimpse of this new-look squad over the past couple of weeks as the team hosted OTA workouts. These practice sessions aren't as important for established veterans, but instead newcomers or those on the bubble looking to gain the inside track on a roster spot.

As it turns out, several players pounced on this opportunity to show out during OTAs, which has raised their stock ahead of the preseason.

1. Isaiah Rodgers, CB

Cornerback Isaiah Rodgers appears to be one of the biggest winners, by far, from the Eagles' OTAs.

Rodgers entered these early workouts as a big unknown given he missed the entire 2023 season due to a suspension for breaking the league's betting rules. Luckily, he was reinstated by the league in late April, clearing the way for him to get his Philly tenure officially started.

And it seems Howie Roseman's gamble might just pay off. Rodgers has turned heads throughout Philadelphia's early workouts, flashing some serious playmaking by jumping a slant route thrown by Jalen Hurts and returning it for a pick-six.

It's obvious Rodgers has taken staying in football shape seriously despite being away from the game. He told reporters he's worked on increasing his speed and hands during this layoff -- which has even caught former Colts teammate Parris Campbell's attention.

The absence of James Bradberry from these practices allowed Rodgers to get some major run, and his playmaking has shown Philly his potential as a legitimate contributor in the secondary this season.

Considering how much of a question mark Rodgers was, even a nice day or two would've been enough to generate some excitement. But the fact he's one of the standouts from this period has led to considerable hype and makes him a starting candidate to watch this preseason.
