3. Bring the Core Veterans Back

Brandon Graham has said he's planning to play one more year. That leaves Fletcher Cox and Jason Kelce as the key veterans up in the air.

Having that entire trio back is going to be crucial.

To start with, all three are still legitimately among the Eagles' top contributors. None are as good as they were in their primes, and Graham and Cox are no longer every-down defenders, but all three are impact players when they're on the field.

PFF actually graded Graham and Cox as the Eagles' second and third best defenders on the season, and Kelce was their No. 6 ranked center in the NFL.

Replacing on-field contributions like that is a tall task even before we start thinking about the locker room.

All three of these guys have been with us through ups and downs before. They know what it takes to win, and more importantly they know what it takes to withstand a shifting culture and be resilient in the face of adversity.

Losing these rocks before we right the ship after last year's finish could be a real disaster.
