3 Eagles Draft Picks Who Are Officially Busts Following 2023 Season
By Jovan Alford
2. Jack Driscoll
Driscoll was chosen to be the replacement for veteran offensive lineman Halapoulivaati Vaitai, who signed with the Detroit Lions in free agency ahead of the 2020 NFL Draft. Vaitai was used as a backup offensive lineman, who the Eagles felt comfortable plugging in anytime a starter got hurt.
However, Driscoll couldn’t fill that void after playing well his first two years with the Eagles. The versatile offensive lineman played a ton of snaps at right tackle, right guard, and a little bit at left tackle.
The final two years of Driscoll’s tenure with Philly weren’t anything special, which is a rare miss for the organization, which usually does a good job of drafting and developing linemen on both sides of the ball. The 26-year-old offensive lineman is set to become an unrestricted free agent in March, and the Eagles will probably opt not to re-sign him.
